While there are many of great places to get a drink locally, La Moufle is has become the defacto bar in town since it opened in 2013 and where tourists and locals – especially the younger ones – choose to hang out.
Super-cool and always welcoming, whatever your age, it’s a great place to for Praz apres-ski or at the end of the night. Great selection of beers and cocktails and some interesting International bar snacks. Not the cheapest in town but not quite central Megève prices.
You never know how the evening will turn out. It can be pretty quiet and laid-back or packed out, more often the latter when there’s an event such as a DJ or band, which there typically is once or twice a week in season. We’ve had some crazy evening here (see example below). Either way – it’s lovely. As they say here “Kiss, Love and Moufle”

Our apartment in Praz sur Arly has long had all mod cons; washing machine; wifi – what more could any holiday maker want? What about a printer – for printing off check-in docs or other critical documents you might need while you’re away from home/work?
So, for 2014 you’ll be able to find a very compact thermal printer in the cupboard alongside the communal laptop Stuart kindly donated.
It only works with thermal paper and there’s a pack of A4 also stored in the cupboard by the front door. I’ll make sure I put a link to instructions on the PC desktop.
Praz sur Arly has made it into the top 50 French ski resorts according to L’Equipe Magazine – coming in at No.45, with neighbouring Megeve taking the top spot!

Just the Summerfield/McLure family at half term Feb 2013. We had some sun and the snow was great. And everyone – Daisy included – really enjoyed the skiing. For the first time we all skied down together from the Cret du Midi, our town’s main peak – a real Red Letter day
